The first thing you do is type in the spelling word and then you record yourself saying the word. One nice feature is that there is a built in spell checker that warns you if you happen to enter a word that is spelt incorrectly. Once the list is ready the programs go ahead and starts quizzing. A side benefit to this spelling program is that it also helps the child's typing skills.

Spell Quizzer has pre-recorded downloadable spelling lists available on their site and are in the process of creating more. You can easily import and export spelling lists to share with other Spell Quizzer users. If you home school your child there is a page on their site that is specifically directed towards homeschoolers.

What a weekend

My weekend started on Thursday I had an impromptu trip to Tobago. I had a wonderful time there. To my amazement when I returned home I couldn't get on the internet to complete my class assignment. So to my rescue came the comuter tech and he helped me. So that's how I was able to update my blog.
